Update: Couldn’t wait until tomorrow so I started to take the grill apart, got the old one out, but damn, those YouTube videos should be more clear, lol. Took me a good half hour just to bring the grill down, another hour to take the actual grill assembly apart and mount the new one. Didn’t have time to mount back in truck.

Forum member mbullock would be the go to guy for paint to match emblems. Look a Johnday's build thread he has a couple of Ruby Red emblems by mbullock.
Looks much better with the color match. Are you going to do the custom Ford emblems too? Only thing is that you will have to remove the grille again to make the switch.

Once was enough for me too! I hated having to pop the ends of the two front fender flares. Wound up breaking one of the bottom end clips. Had to order a couple from Tasca Parts. The '18's need more dissembling than previous years to get at stuff.

That really looks good! When the 18's first came out that was the grille in Ruby Red that was in most of the photos. It really grabs your eyes I think.
That is a high visibility mod. Really looks nice. Great job.
I guess I'm a little brand loyal, but I like the blue and chrome Ford logo as is. BUT if you take a look at Johnday's custom painted logos they are hard to beat.
