A shot of the fender emblem coated with Plastidip.
The emblems were coated while on the truck. This was the first time using this product and I was surprised at the ease of use and how easy it was to achieve the desired results.


Three coats of plastidip on the Ford emblem. Simply peeled it off the chrome. Again, I'm really impressed with this product.

hey, thank you for posting those. I was surprised you could hear your turn signal clicking, would have expected it to drown that out. I think you've pretty much sold me on it! So, that's 2 things now you've added to my list. Haha.

You're welcome. Glad I could help out. Before posting these clips, I checked American Muscle and it appears they have only audio/video examples of the 3.5L so I figured posting sole videos of the 5.0L might helps some folks.

Update on your original question about drone on the highway. After a long highway drive today, I noticed that I can only hear the exhaust under acceleration, whether it be light acceleration around town or WOT (wide open throttle) but I cannot hear it while cruising at a steady speed.

I absolutely love how this the 5.0L V8 sounds and this setup is perfect for me.
