That is an excellent point! When we did the floor, my wife had a Dodge Nitro and I had the Ram. Both were the exact same blue. Here is an early shot of when I finished the garage.

When my wife got a new Edge recently, she was going to go with the same blue as i got, but she wanted a change so went with burgundy. I told her now that she doesn't have a blue truck, not sure she can park in there. She does anyway.

Congratulations on the new truck! I too came from a Ram, 2012 SLT. It was a great truck for me. I added Katzkin leather seats, headlights, grille, wheels, tires, stereo, etc., all of the fun stuff of course. With my new F-150 I just got a majority of the options I knew I wanted. I say I'm not going to do too much to this one, but we'll see

Interesting that when removing my "Sport" decals it was just the opposite. I had to use a little heat on the passenger side, while the driver side came off clean

I knew going in there were some things I wanted to do after I picked it up. No truck is going to have everything I want so I custom ordered the things I knew I just wasn't going to do myself this time. The other things are much smaller in scale compared to what others have done, and I'm just happy about that.

I can't wait to see the putco window trim painted to match.

Truck looks good, I need to take my fx4 sticker off on my bed but was debating on using heat or not. What did you use to take off the glue?

Love those headlights, I just have the plain Jane ones and really want those kinds

I can't either! The problem I have is I still don't have my fender badges from Billet Badges. It has been 5 weeks since I ordered them (they tell you it could take up to 10 weeks!) so can't really have everything painted until I get those in. I mean I could get the rest of the stuff painted, then send the badges off, but it would be better to have all the blue painted at once from the painters perspective, and really can't argue with that. Had 2 months to wait for the truck and ordered the badges thinking I'd have enough time to get them, painted, and waiting before the truck came. Hopefully soon!

Thanks! If you look at one of the pictures above, you can see the can of Turtle Wax "label and sticker remover". A quick spray and the glue loosens up real nice. Careful not to get it everywhere, it can do ugly things to plastic.

I like the headlights too, but will be swapping these out soon enough with the smoked, special edition version. If you have the halogen lights and want to change to LED, there is a great thread around here somewhere on how to do it. I almost didn't order the 502A package because I saw how easy it was to change over to LED lights, but in the end I wanted the technology package and the only way to get that was with the 502A package.

Not really a "mod", but put in my Maxpider floor mats. Have had Weathertechs, both kinds of Huskys, and my wife has even a different brand in her Edge, so decided to try something different. Definitely not as "heavy duty" as the rubber/heavy plastic ones, but like the look of these and they provide good coverage. Don't like the "3D" logo, but we will see if it bugs me enough to do something about it later.

I also really just find myself taking pictures of the truck at random moments. I'm sure this will pass, but right now it's just exciting to be driving around in this truck.

One of my weekend projects will be to "fix" the Retrax and BedRug installations my friend did for me. He runs service where I bought the truck, and did me a "favor" and had my cover and liner installed for me while I was out of town, before I even picked up the truck.

I get the truck on Monday, and while they are "installed", they are not even close to being correct. First, the Retrax is almost permanently installed, meaning it won't slide easily. Perhaps some adjustments. Second, the BedRug is just dropped in and fastened with Velcro in there. No cut outs for the lights, tie downs, or BoxLink

Now, I wasn't charged for any of this fine installation work, and he is a good friend who was helping me out, so my solution is just to fix it myself. I really should have done it myself in the first place, I would have been very happy with those results I'm sure.

I've been told I should just ask him to do it right this time, but in the end, I think I'll be happier doing it myself and knowing its right. I've seen that service dept do really cool things, apparently aftermarket accessories are not one of them.
