Ok, im back at it. Grille is 50% complete. The 2 outer parts of the grille are now painted J7 Magnetic, the main part, the support part that is black with the chrome parts is now being modified and will then be prepped for paint
Funny that even though these 2 parts are painted, it would seem like they are the highlight of this modification. They are not! What come next will be the highlight. Going back out in the garage to work.

Close up shows how the main support part of the grille actually looks plain and imho...cheap and ugly. About to fix that!
Paint came out excellent....almost wanna install as is, but the main support now looks cheap, its a NO! lol

have you put your roof rack on yet? I am about the purchase one....curious how it looks on your truck (mine is also magnetic) and if there are any issues with rain penetration or wind/road noise with that rack as I saw reported on some of the previous generation trucks
