Well, the spacers (2”) came in today and they make the tires/truck look great just a little bit outside of the fenders. The problem is the tires now rub against the front frame extensions / crash bars.

Now I don’t know if it’s worth it to trim the bars or just leave it as it is. It seems like a lot of work.

Those crash bars give the f150 a 5 star safety rating. I’d leave them alone and maybe try a smaller spacer.

I’ll try exchanging the 2” spacers for 1” spacers

I got on the phone with American Muscle and they sent me an RMA and return shipping label for the 2" spacers. They also shipped me a replacement set of 1.5" spacers for me to try on the truck. They do not have 1" spacers.

Tried the 1.5" spacers and they also make the front tires rub on the front crash bar. I'm done trying out spacers. The tires will stay tucked in as they are until I can get a lift on the truck. Might try the Rough Country 3" bolt-on lift

I don’t think 4x like the cv angles those 3” bolt on lifts create. Max I’d go is 2.5”. Although I’d image if your mostly on paved roads, it’s probably not that big a deal. Seems like a lot of work to get an extra 1/2”. But hey we’re dudes, we’re always trying to get another half inch

I agree with you... not worth the extra 1/2" as it might not allow for the spacers. I might as well just take the plunge and go for a BDS 6" kit, swap the wheels for 20" and get 35x12.5 tires...
