Well the light bar's wiring harness is installed and all hooked up...........unfortunately, I had to modify the LED bar brackets that I had previously bought, that was supposed to be for a 30" bar. NOPE!
End to end, my bar is a tad over 32", so I had to cut the brackets down, drill new holes and the paint is drying now
The bar will be installed tomorrow
In the mean time, my Corsa resonator delete arrived............very impressed with the quality
I will hopefully get some sound clips, before and after the install.......which looks VERY simple and straightforward

Also, not a fan of drilling a huge hole in the dash to mount the light switch
On my old truck, I had two sets of PIAA lights and loved the simple push button activation, with a self adhesive switch
I am going to zip tie the current switch in the dash and order a PIAA 30034 switch, and adapt the connection to fit........found the #30034 for $19 shipped

With a single row, I would have definitely had lots of room the play with
With the dual row, I found that each end of the bar was 3/8" away from the vertical grill supports
Took some adjustment, and then more adjustment......but it is mounted
Right now I have the bar pointed down at a 5 degree angle........I might need more, or less. Road test will show
Nice and concealed, no concern for theft

I cannot say enough about the DT Adjustable Lockable Receiver............simply love it. Easy to adjust, rated very well, and is SECURE
Also love this tool kit..........portable, made VERY WELL, and somewhat cheap (bargain cave at Cabelas for $70)
Self contained in a very heavy duty carrying bag................Hi-Lift Handle All
Telescoping implement handle, Full-sized shovel head, Full-sized sledge hammer head, Full-sized axe head, Full-sized pick-axe head

The new PIAA light switch arrived and it was a fast, easy install
Just cut three wires off the old switch and three wires off the PIAA harness
Solder and install........the double sided tape holds the PIAA switch nicely in place without having to drill a huge hole in the dash panel
Much nice switch now and am loving the LED bar
Time to install the Corsa resonator delete now.........hopefully tonight

Stock resonator is OUT and the Corsa delete pipe is IN
Removal went smooth, broke off the two bolts on the flange end the broke the bolt on the clamp in
Heat from a torch loosened up the clamp up fast and a large pipe wrench helped to turn and loosen it
Total install time was an hour
Nice rumble at idle.........sounds pretty damn good for a V6. I will drive it tomorrow and see how it does on the road
So easy.........amazed people pay to have these installed and pay $220 for just the pipe.

I might be crazy, but the truck seems to accelerate easier and seems to have more power after the delete pipe was installed..........very noticeable difference
Strange
