Concerning the 8" OEM NAV, I had to remove the info screen that was useless and replace with two new modules that also came from salvage; Acc. Protocol Interface Module (APIM) for the audio & the DATC for the auto HVAC module. Other existing connectors link directly to the front display. Also some minor wiring terminals have to be rerouted. MANY THANK'S TO "DALLAS150" from this forum for editing the Audio wiring diagrams, this was really needed for the final connection clue! Will also need to order the top NAV faceplate to hide the hole made by removing the info screen.

Concerning the Ecoboost Engine swap for a 6.2L; this could be an interesting project for the third phase right after the the suspension retrofit. At this time I'm really happy with this 3.5L BiTurbo to give this start. For this first phase, the FX4 to Raptor project will mainly concern it's facelift with Raptor bodyworks. I will need purchasing Raptor fenders, hood grill & valence. Will surely need to go aftermarket to find a pair of those 6.5' rear Raptor fenders that doesn't exist in OEM. Also, I've recently found a brand new Raptor front bumper at a reasonable price on RaptorZ forum.
Still keeping searching!

Default Looking to buy new Raptor fenders!

You're right BOGIE89!!!

And so far so good, the weekend wasn't too bad...
Tried to remove the roof top skin purchased from salvage and I had to give-up! I was doing messy work which I wasn't proud of. Still searching for some clue on how this can be done. I opened another post for this one:
https://www.f150forum.com/f69/2011-r...d-help-225094/

Removed all four fenders in about half a day. As usual, first ones were tricky and the other ones easy!
Soon the FX4 will be bare bone after removing all doors & roof top... Couldn't look really more ugly and I'm now searching for new Raptors fenders.
Still not decided if I'll will go with OEM or the Fiberglass aftermarket ones.
After some research, I found those available from FIBERWERX, GLASSWORK Ind. and McNeil Racing.

If I resume those options for a 2011 F150 with a 6.5'bed with straight top rails, I only see this availability coming from McNeil...

Perhaps, this model seem to be quite new to them and I just don't know how well they fit? Did anybody had purchased those McNeil Raptor rear fenders (the top straight rails ones) and how was the fit convenience? Any pictures of final install would give me a forward kick!
Next weekend, I will invest some time to finish this rooftop skin removal. Just crossing my fingers that in the meantime I'll find how this can be done... Without busting panel corners!

Also have temporary fitted this like new OEM Raptor bumper that just came in this last Friday...

To be followed...

The front fenders almost fit perfect with some body work on all fiber companies. The rear quarters require quite a bit of body work. The rear corners flare up on top, middle has waves, bottom corners need to be aligned. Good luck on the whoke truck.. ive been looking for project like this

Seeing a wrecked F150 makes me sad. But with your TLC this one will rise from the ashes like a phoenix raptor. Or raptor phoenix, whatever the case may be. Looking forward to it!

Yeah!, Prior purchasing it, I saw this truck in a completely new look with this project in mind! Perhaps, I think it will take more spare time than I had expected. And at this time, I am stuck with a rooftop that doesn't want to peel off...For this one, taught it was an easier job than it just looks. I'm just hoping not having to dig into deep stuff!
