2.7l v6
I've noticed that some vehicles are listed with different engine descriptions on dealer websites. For example:
1. **EcoBoost 2.7L V-6**: Port/direct injection, DOHC, Ti-VCT variable valve timing.
2. **2.7L V6 24V PDI DOHC Twin Turbo**.
What are the key differences between these two engines? Which one would be better in terms of reliability, speed, and potential for modifications?

I have a 2018 2.7L screw and I love it. I have it tuned with an MPT 87 tow tune. Won't be as fast as the PRX tune mentioned above, but still added power and gives me plenty of acceleration. I tow a travel trailer with my truck often. I can feel it for sure because of the height, but the 2.7L has no issues with it. It also has no issues turning my 315/70/17 tires with 3.55 gears.

Different verbiage describing the same engine. It is a fairly unique engine initially a diesel design converted to gas fuel. The block has nothing in common with any other Ford V6. 2 sizes are made 2.7 and 3.0. KM
