Default 1997 XLT Build Thread

New to the site, figured I would start my build thread on what all I will be doing to my 1997 Ford F-150 XLT Super Cab 4x4 4.6L V8 This thread will show what all I have done and it is also for you all to comment on what you think I should do. Here is my truck when I first got it in the Spring of 2012

After the Nerf Bars, I went and got Flowmaster muffler and tips and had my local shop run it out behind rear tire. Once again, picture will not load

Clean truck, you should crank your torsion bars so she sits level.

Thanks man! But yeah, I have a whole list of I want to do. People say you need aftermarket keys, is this necessary or can you crank on your stock keys?

You can get level on stock keys, I wish I had tried it with mine first before I bought the kit.

I know you can lift it a certain amount with stock keys and aftermarket keys allow you to crank higher. But I would get better keys and rear blocks for the rear to add about 2 or 3 inches all around
