I know someone asked this before but there was no answer so I'll ask... how easy would this be for someone with no experience?? I have been reading a lot and I want to put the leveling kit on but I've got very little experience..

so on the HBS directions sheet it says the shock to lower arm nut and bolt needs to be torqued to 351 FT lbs. how are you guys achieving that without air tools? or you just doing it as tight as you can and hoping for the best? haha

I just did my HBS 2.5 today. The ONLY reason I felt confident doing it myself was because of this thread and all of you that contributed. I have only changed oil and tires before and I made it through ok. Thanks for the $ well saved! (I can't seem to get a pic to load...)

I'm going to try this. I've seen 2 inch and 2.5 inch lifts, what's the real difference? Other than the obvious. I also plan on putting 3 inch rear blocks to replace the factory blocks. How is this performed? Any special tools other than jacks. Instructions on this would be appreciated.

Does this have anything to do with torsion bars. I have a 04' F-150 and have talked to many people about raising the front end, so as not to have the angled look.

to get level i wouldnt get the 3inch...... i have the 3inch and it sits nose hi(thats how i wanted it though)...i would get the 2.5 becouse ... if you get 2inch most people actually want that other .5inch and regret going with the 2inch...

ive been told 2.5 to achieve level on 04-06 models and heard 3 in on 07-08's....i put a 2.5 on mine and it sits level as can be....i noticed a big change in the ride quality since i have a short wheelbase truck...very rough...others say they dont notice a difference but it think since i have fx4 reg cab short bed it makes it a lil more rough riding(fx4 has stiffer shocks)...not as bad as my old yj jeep i had but close!
