I don't understand the inner and outer puddle lamps. I thought there were only the one puddle lamp on the lower part of each mirror.

There is only one puddle per mirror. Can you please elaborate why you think there is 2?

My local Walmart doesn't carry the 18" lights to cut in half but they do carry a 24" set of LED's. When I cut the required 9"s can the other half still be used or are they garbage

Ops. wrong thread, sorry.

Thanks for the info. Did mine yesterday. I used 6 LED strips as they seemed to fit better, 9 just seemed to be an awful close fit. Also wired though the puddle lamp hole so I didn't have to take the mirror apart.

I just ordered the blinkers, will do this as soon as they come in. OP, are you still active? I would like to be able to ask some questions as I am installing them.

I can answer you man...I have a 2010 STX as well. And no, the wiring is not in your existing mirrors. I bought a pair with blinkers and heat off of another member of this site. They were plug and play though. Except for heat. You'd need a new climate control as well.
