Default How to: Side step 48" LED puddle light

Total for each side was roughly an hour each and really easy. Few hours for dry time after and ready for assembly.

1) remove (2 or 4) bolts on each connection point under side step.

2) scrubbed and removed all dirt from inside the side step.

3) position LEDs to where it will cast off even light dipursment.
* best to keep in mind of the low voltage power supply. I stayed near to support connection as that's where you want to sleeve and conceal low voltage line

4) once LEDs are where you want them drill a small hole on the back side low and centered at support connection.

5) now simply apply adhesive (silicone "heavy duty" in my case) along inside of side step and light strip itself.
* set pressure with tape every 8"-12" to keep down for proper dry. Reapply more after dry if needed.

6) after re-installing side steps to supports find the best way to run/conceal low voltage up through support back.

7) pop off driver (or passenger) kick panel and locate the grey&purple wire. (this I did to tie with dome light).

8) where low voltage is directly below, drill a small hole to pull through and silicone after.

9) properly connect low voltage to grey&purple.

Enjoy!
