Well I hope that is it....It can't get much worse..600 miles on the truck so far...So you're saying after a few thousand miles it should be up to a solid 16 mpg?? 
Thanks for the response, I was somewhat disheartened when I read another poster saying he got 21+mpg on the tank of fuel he had leaving the dealership....

I know I test drove an FX4 and 2wd XLT when they were here in OKC and there was quite a big difference on the dash MPG between the two. I do not know if 2wd versus 4wd is going to make that much of a difference as I've never had a 4wd vehicle but the difference i seen made me think about getting a 2wd instead of 4wd.

Got a notification from the dealership today....my truck is sitting in the "yard" waiting to be assigned a train car for it's ride to Montana. Delivery is scheduled for the week of March 7th.
I ordered my seat covers from Headwaters today, and my WeatherTech Digitalfit floor mats. The topper will be ordered on Monday, and I scheduled it in to have the lower 1/3 and bed coated with "Bullhide" on March 21st. By the time all that gets done, I'll have to save my pennies for a while before getting a Bedrug.

I have had mine now for about a week and I love it .... the gas mileage is great i am in the army so I drive back and forth on post and I am getting about 18-20 but I took it on a road trip all highway and got around 26 at 70-75mph . the power in this truck is great and I put a magna flow system on and just made her even better.

Nice info guys!! I am still waiting for the build date/vin number and everything I "ordered" it on Jan 28th and still no word on anything really, last I talked to the dealer he goes "we got the daily printout and your truck was on there for the build date" so dunno what that means exactly but can't wait to get it. My truck I have now the tabs go out on Monday so wont have a truck to drive til this one comes in.
