You missed my point a bit.....it's not a 12 second car with the V6, and as mentioned above, not a car that gets 30+ mpg.....best of both worlds.....other than the exhaust note, as you mention. There IS nothing better that a Coyote V8 with a Corsa or Bassani exhaust system.....full throttle tunnel music!!!!!

I'm pretty sure Ford already announced the Ecoboost Mustang few weeks ago.

What is it with people lately wanting to destroy muscle cars images with v6 engines and diesel engines? It's a muscle car folks. They became the icon they are today because of the big, powerful, throaty v8s found under their hoods. Do you think anybody in the 60s or 70s was bragging about how fast and awesome sounding their v6 was? No. They were racing and hot rodding their v8s. Quit trying to screw with that image. And to hell with that idiot in the office and his figures. I'm willing to bet money that the next guy in office gets rid of that or the guy after him.

well i'm not a sports car guy at all, but i think it would work great, yes.
i'd love to see an ECOBOOST.....6.2!!! that would be AWESOME! especially in a real sport version of the f150 (where is it, damnit??!!), with 6 speed manual trans. and i'm sure sports car fans would love it in a mustang. oh yeah... -Zach |
For one, I would calm down if I was you and second I'd remove about 99% of that post^^

The 3.5L EB Engine would make a better Mustang GT than the current 5.0L if it the EB made 400+ HP.
There, I said it. Oh yeah, and it'd probably handle better too. |
