Default What fuel grade do you run in your Eco-Boost?

What fuel grade do you run in your Eco-Boost? My 2012 manual indicated to run mid grade for where I live in Colorado at elevation, but I wonder if it will really do any damage to run low grade. So name your grade:

Low
Mid
Premium

Just bought the truck, Screw Eco. Started out with 87, but I believe I am going to start running E-Free 93 all the time now. Better fuel economy with no ethanol.

I used to run whatever the owners manual suggested.

I run premium. My first ecoboost had no issues with 87, but after tuning I went to 93. I run a 91 octane tune so the 93 is just a little extra insurance and piece of mind. Datalogs show no kr.

When I switched from running Gulf 87 to ExxonMobil 93, my fuel mileage went up. I also believe it is better to run top tier fuels as suggested in the manual to help keep the injectors clean. I now run a minimum of 89 octane, but premium when I tow.

I run 91 in mine can't get 93,and even though it's over $1.55 a liter I'm not going to 87.

I run 91 octane Shell or Conoco almost all the time. That's premium here.

I am surprised that so many people run premium. I've run pretty much 87 octane even when towing and have not had any problems with detonation.
If I go on another long trip with the TT, I may try a couple of tanks in a row of premium and see what happens to my mpg.....

So it doesn't sound like there is danger in running lower grade fuels. I haven't seen a 10% increase in mileage running premium over low grade, so economics dictates that the low grade stuff is good enough, plus it's got less ethanol in it so I like that too.

Thanks guys.
