The thing I don't get...is I had the same problem with it going into and out of boost repeatedly going up hills, starting in November of 2011. Dealt with it that whole Fall/Winter/Spring, including 2 complete loss of power events. Once temps rose above 55 degrees in Spring of 2012...issue went away for the whole Summer. Came back in Fall of 2012 when temps were below 55 degrees. Dealt with it all Winter again. But it got worse and began happening with any throttle input. Dealer performed 3 TSB's and it still persisted.
So in March this year I regapped plugs and it seems to have gone away. I still feel like the truck doesn't have much power though.
Glad it took care of your issue...and I agree it'd be nice to have a write up on how to check ourselves. Just seems like theres been so many "fixes" that have solved this issue...its kind of troubling.

We stayed outside Paducah a few days ago towing our 9k fiver. Now in Ft Smith, Arkansas. I just get a pulsing when it is pulling hard, but other than that it is done great. I want to get the plugs replaced when we stop long enough. The headwinds from the storms had me down to 9.6 mpg but am up to 10.1 now.
