I use my garmin as a boost gage, a Bluetooth add-on for the garmin that connects to the OBDII port. It works ok for my needs at the moment, can choose from about ten different gages and arrange them however you like.

why exactly did you do this upgrade? And is the thing for real held on by bungee cords????

His bug cover that protects his rad is held on with bungee cords.
And for why change the IC? Why not.

The bungee cords are there incase the bubble gum, duct tape, and baling wire fail.
