Default Turbo identification A-B

I have an F150 2011 Ecoboost. Code failure is P0299 A. I assume 'A' is identifying the left or right side turbo, if so does anyone know which side would be which?

.I don't have the manual for 2011, but for 2012 they are referred to as LH and RH. There isn't even a code for A/B on this DTC.

P0299 - Turbocharger/Supercharger A Underboost Condition Description: This DTC sets when the actual throttle intake pressure is less than the desired throttle intake pressure by 27.6 kPa (4 psi) or more for 5 seconds. A minimum throttle intake pressure (TIP) PID reading during engine operation indicates an underboost condition.Possible Causes:
  • Damaged turbocharger (TC) wastegate regulating valve solenoid
  • TC wastegate regulating solenoid valve stuck
  • Wastegate stuck open
  • Wastegate control hose open or plugged
  • Air leak between turbocharger and throttle
Diagnostic Aids: Check tubing for obstructions, cracks and incorrect fitting connections.

Check the turbocharger wastegate regulating valve solenoid for correct operation.Application Key On Engine Off Key On Engine Running Continuous Memory AllGO to Pinpoint Test HN .

I know this is way later and I just recently acquired an ecoboost myself and had the turbo A vs B on my scanner. for work I had to go to a dealership and as they were helping me figure it out, I noticed the ford part number/ID number ended in A and a B. So turbo A is the right while turbo B is left. Hope this helps someone
