Default Timing kit recommendations

2011 f150 5.0l
Was replacing the vct solenoids and noticed one of the oil buttons on the phaser has broken off flush so the solenoid doesn't open it. Need recommendations on a timing kit for it. Any help would be appreciated.

OE is never wrong...... I'm sure some of the aftermarket are OK. But I would be doing a lot of research on it when doing the job/buying the parts.

Back in the day I used Melling, and Cloyes. This was on simple overhead engines. I see at the Rockauto site they are listed on the lower price range. Then show S A Gear, and INA as higher end? Not familiar with them.

Also no sprockets included. Looks like Wells, and Standard Motor products for sprockets. I would be checking if an OE total complete set was available, and the cost.

Thanks for the info. Can't believe that plunger broke like it did. Never seen that before

Not a kit but I can send you a list of the OE parts I used from Tasca/Rockauto if you want.

I bought my timing kit from summit. Under $700. Included chains, guides, tensioners, sprocket, cam phasers annd screens and new bolts. If you’re gonna change out the timing stuff, you might as well spend the $200 for a melli g oil pump too. I have a 2014 5.0 f150.
