Default Timing chain rattling, is there a permanent fix now?

Had to make new account on here since I don't have my old email anymore.

Okay my timing chain is rattling now.
65k miles.
I have ESP until 75k.

2011 Eco with an engine rebuild when camshaft broke in half...
That was spring 2014 I believe.

I need to check my paperwork at home but I think timing chain was one of the things replaced under the rebuild but I think that was before all the issues others had.

Google isn't being very helpful to me I keep finding posts about people doing some TSB and then the issue returns right away afterwards.

My questions:
Am I going to be covered under warranty for this with ESP since I guess I'm out of my power train now?

What tsb do I need to insist on getting at the dealer?

Does whatever fix Ford have for this issue actually fix it permanently now?

Am I going to hurt the engine by driving? Possibly been having timing chain issue for a little bit but I've been remote starting all summer.

I've never had timing chain issues with any vehicle so I'm a little concerned about this.

TSB is 16-0027 which calls for the replacement of the chain and the 4 phasers. Had mine done under the 5/60 power train warranty. Your extended warranty may cover it if you are having the problem. They may want to hear it for themselves however.

Pack a lunch and read this thread.

I'd start at the end of that thread and work backwards to get the most recent/relevant info however. TSB Attached.

Yeah power train covered my engine rebuild.

If esp warranty doesn't cover I'm going to be really upset.

That tsb file just says new vehicle and emissions warranty?

Yeah I started reading that earlier and it was bunch of people with the issue reoccurring.

I'll look into more detail later when I get off work.

If it is going to be under warranty I'll just get it done. I'm trying to get it recorded on phone before I talk to dealer. Did it twice yesterday before and after work.

Just skip to the last 10 pages and read it from there.

Keep in mind that the new parts you get don't fix the root cause. These cam phaser failures are due to clogged/sludged up oil paths to the cam phasers. You would be better off trading for a non-eco.

Why would I trade it if there is a fix for it?

Did not get the noise tonight but yesterday morning and evening and this morning.
Trying to get it recorded before chatting with dealer.

When did the "new" phasers come into use?

Ford has been calling for them to be replaced for over a year now.

Run a good quality oil and change it every 5k. You will be fine.

No noise this morning either.

It was really loud on Monday.

Going to get the work done if warranty covers it and I can get it doing it consistently.

Can't tell by reading online if the phasers have a new part number so they are actually different than the old. Not seeing anything about that.

I did see something about the timing chain changing and I think my spring 2015 repair had the new chain.
