What about a 6.2 powered reg cab 5'5 bed, 4.10s that would be fun.
I cant justify a reg cab truck but still love the old cyclone and lightning, dodge can keep their trucks with the ugly spoilers.

OP, I can't remember the exact weight but the reg cabs are right around 5,000 even. Probably a few hundred lbs more if its 4wd

And thats sad because at least in my area regular cabs are still very popular. Been seeing quite a few '14 silverado rcsb's. there have always been tons of GM reg cabs here. There will always be a market for it even if its way smaller than the screw market.

July 2014 Hot Rod magazine tested a 4X4 Tremor, they said it tipped the scales at 5,380 lbs. and ran a 14.28@93.8 mph with it.

Meh. Wait a few months and snag a '15 with the same powertrain, all the updates, a 500# or so lighter.
Unless it's a money thing, but the Tremor is a bit of a toy, so the value is hugely lacking IMO. Don't buy something that will have you feeling buyers remorse a year from now.......

With just a tune they are at or over 100 mph in the 13s.

How do you know that buying one will result in buyers remorse? You dont. Especially not for me since the 15 reg cabs are what, 3" smaller now from front to back? I'd probably have more remorse if I bought a 15 reg cab. And any first year run of a new gen for that matter.
