Maybe, I would hope it would do more than that. LOL

In the Subaru world, running a no cat tune with a cat = melted cat. But as I said before, I'm just speculating. I'd hate to see anyone melt their stock cats, they are $$

Hey guys! Look, I have been through every single issue listed on here, and I understand the hate. I just decided to be semi-patient which is not in my personality, and work in combo with the tech dept on the phone and the member SUPERCHIPS CSR through private message on here. I had the tech dept give me a case number, then emailed him and he had the fixes up for me very quickly. The 1st one fixed the half-assed "E" update that put me back to stock, that was a version of the final tune without the 6th gear fix. Then the following Tuesday I emailed him for the final tune with the 6th gear fix, and he also had to have it pushed to my updater. Now, I had to move the cord to the backside USB port on my pre-historic work PC tower, and it took all of 30min to fully update. It also after everything showed USB timeout also, I tried again, and it showed I was updated, so it all loaded OK. So, don't let that scare you as long as you watch it all load. I will say, once I loaded that latest tune, it was worth the brain damage!! It runs way better than before, I have the option for rear cats, and the high altitude option for turbo noise. The other thing that was huge for me is I always run with tq mgmt OFF and it now does not slam into gear, it just shifts perfect. They must have made some adjustments there also. The moral of the story, is that SC heard all of our complaints from the beginning and fixed stuff, just not in the easiest way always. I am glad it all worked out, and now love driving my truck again, but I am as always not content, the Innovative tune looks like my next mod!

I have read a bunch of info on the super chips tuner now, however I did this after I made the purchase. My tuner will be here tomorrow and to be honest I am a little concerned about some of the latest issues. So I am just curious, those of you that have the most recent update loaded with fixes to the issues actually make an improvement? I know there will be people that have issues no matter what tuner I research they all have their own problems. Does anyone have this installed on a 2012 that is satisfied with the overall performance of their truck? I know this is a thread for problems but figured I would see if anyone could provide some feedback would be very appreciated.

I have an 11, but I'll answer anyways. All issues aside I am very satisfied with the tuner, the truck runs great, and is fast as ****.

Thanks bud it is always good to hear positive feedback! Makes me feel a little better about my purchase. Over time i feel superchips will continue to better the tunes for the Ecoboost. Did you get the 6th gear issue fixed or not ever have the problem to begin with? So I take it everything is working great right now for you. What tune are you running at the moment the 87, 91, economy, or tow tune?

I run the 87 tune, but I normally run 93 in the truck.

I had, and still have the 6th gear issue. I have a case number with SC to get the latest "fix" for it; I just don't think they've gotten around to me yet. I'll call them tomorrow and see if they can push it through.

I still believe it was a good purchase. The $ to performance ratio is amazing.
