SoCal Tunes!!!!

Savage, what you are doing with your tune is exactly what I am looking for. I have tunes from MPT, 5*, Unleashed and I have Livernous. I have been running my 87 p/t tune because of towing the boat this summer. When I call Shawn, how do I make sure I get the tune you have for towing? Do I use your forum ID name or something else?

After getting some more miles on it this is what I think about the tune, it's IMO a perfected combination of the strenghts of the other tunes I have with out the weaknesses of any of them. I really liked the new shift strategy MPT came up with but I would have done some tweaking to get it more to my liking, what I got from Shawn nailed exactly how I would have changed it. There is no lag in power, its just there..NOW. Throttle response is how I wished the truck would have been since purchasing it. Shawn has his $h!^ together on this tune. Can't wait to get my DP's on and for my meth to show up and see how it runs.
My wife was even impressed and noticed the difference and believe me if she notices something like that it's definetly noticeable. She want's to get an ecoboost SUV or Focus ST for Shawn to tune now, lol.

I don't think you can tow with Lances tune if thats the one you got. I do know that he has got mine turned down quite a bit from Lances and Corys. But where you don't have cats maybe I am not shur, I would call Shawn and ask him. He has sent me tunes before and said do not tow with these at all.

I have both the 87 and 93 perf tune from Shawn. When I received the tunes, I already had 93 in my truck so that's the tune I started with. Talk about wake the truck up!!! After driving it for a couple hundred miles I decided to have Shawn do some tweaking. I just didn't care for the hard shift from 2-3. I also told him that it scared the crap out of my wife. Lol no questions asked, he sent my 4 different revisions. 87 and 93 with a smoother shift and something a little more tamed for the wife.
No I'm sure that there are better revisions of his tunes out there as I have read in this thread, but I am so happy with how my truck runs now that I feel like I am set. I'm not the kind of guy that goes to the track on weekends but I am that guy who enjoys having some fun at a light and on the interstate.
Shawn's customer service is second to none and if anyone I know asks me where they can get a good tune for the ecoboost, it's Shawn Hands down!!!

Dont tow with mine... LOL
BTW - I would like to say something.
There is all this talk about track times, which - they matter and i will get them. However, an all out race tune with no manners is the easiest tune you could possibly make. Optimal timing, crank the boost, take off all limitations, etc... and you have a race tune.
A tune as powerful as a race tune and yet... it drives smoothly, shifts quickly, shifts in the sweet spot, has no surging, no misfires, etc, etc is a challenge and until I met Shawn, I couldn't find a tune that had all the possitives and no negatives. SO, with that said... keep the qualitative somments coming such as driveability and seat of pants feeling - because that is 80% of what a quality tune is. For the other 20% ...track times will be here eventually. AND with comparisons on the same truck, the same day, the same track
