That totally fine by me. Thanks or the heads up I appreciate it. That whole thing makes sense to me as having two threads because that way they get split up an each group can find what they are looking for. Its. Good idea.
OK. BGUIMONT's Thread is about to become "SoCal 5.0L Tunes/ Discussion & Review"
Now I'm waiting for Corey to get back to me for making his Thread "SoCal Ecoboost Tunes/ Discussion & Review"

The purpose is to have two separate Threads, each to those specific engines.
This is being discussed in Coreys thread & the moment. Ltt me know if you agree.

I have talked to Shawn several times on the phone email strategy codes and box codes and for close to two months he never got my tune right. Then one day when I got some spare time I called him and gave him my code one more time and I finally got one that works. It could use a few minor tweaks but I'm in the process of going back to 91 so I'm not going to push it.
I have 5 sets of tunes. Why do people have that many? It's because your looking for something better or something is the latest greatest and you want to try it. I have revised tunes from my second round of tunes and even though I have some real nice tunes from somewhere else these ones are very nice to. They even sent me a free 87 tune to try until I get back to pure 91. I would say its almost equal to their old 91 and smooth.
Most of the people that have and issue with a tune from Shawn are like me and don't want the ***** to the wall tune. That's why the ***** to the walls are the happiest ones. A lot of people order that only to find it is not for them. So you have a whack of people waiting to get it toned down while the other gang are bragging up theirs because it easy to make it go fast and tweak for more.
Like I said I've talked with him several times on the phone and he is very nice to talk to. I would even consider him as a friend.
I have no idea why his tunes can't be discussed one way or the other when every other tune out there has positive and negative comments without back lash against other members. All of these tuners build very nice tunes that suit the needs of different people. With all of the tunes I have I can honestly say I have at least one from each the I really like and have no trouble running them. Heck I even run stock once in a while just to remember why I bought the truck in the first place.

If you have a stock truck then you don't understand that most tuners if not all do most everything by e-mail. Shawn is the exception to this rule.

I think this must be said and what I am about to say I truly believe.
Shawn appears to be an exceptional tuner, lots of satisfied customers and very few with issues. He may very well have the latest and greatest tunes available on the market and a drive to maintain that status. With cooler temps I am sure we will see slips to prove it. I am not here to bag on him, may come across that way sometimes, but not my intent. I would just like to see the other members with issues have them addressed or resolved, that is it. You may not agree with the last sentence or may think it is trolling but it is how I feel.
