Why? It would send the other makers scrambling to catch up. Henry Ford made the American Car affordable to the general public...ie. Working Class. Why Not use that same message and increase sales?

As a working man who hasnt bought new (for myself) in 13 years,at almost $7 large off the window sticker I couldnt pass it up. For what I bought,that to me is a henry ford price in my book!

My boat is about 3k (plus some change) when loaded, with a full tank. I don't even know it's back there when towing with the Ecoboost. That being said, running empty most of the time, I wouldn't make the decision based on MPG. Both truck seem to get about the same, from what I've read on here. 4x4 with 3.73 FX4 here. Average about 17.5 combined, and I'm satisfied, coming from a Tacoma 4.0 V6 that got about the same (with half the towing capacity).
