Question Raptor exhaust question

My buddy has a 2018 raptor and he wants to swap out his exhaust system for something different. He offered it to me if I want it. I have a couple questions.

1. Will it fit if I follow this thread? https://www.f150forum.com/f38/instal...xhaust-303576/ Or has there been changes to the exhaust in the newer models?

2. How does it sound? I really haven't found a good sound video on it. I don't want it to sound like a rice grinder..

Check out this thread.

I have a Raptor exhaust and all the necessary parts for the install. (Down pipes, raptor bumper, hangers etc.) I’m currently having a garage built and I’ll complete the install as soon as I can.

No worries.

This is why I want to make sure it will or will not work. Lots of variables here.

Question

Tothemax - @gDMJoe
No 1st experience with gen'13 Raptor exhaust, however, reviewing ebaY® aftermarket offerings for the 2017-2018 EcoBoost Raptors, the 1st thing that is obvious is that the exhaust system is dual exhaust from after-cat' to the tailpipes (which exit on both sides of the rear). The gen'12 EcoBoost F-150s are single exhaust from after-cat' to the tailpipe.

MEANING: All of the mounting points (probably) have changed and therefore hanger and bracket modifications, additions, would be necessary. Not to mention, that there's a good probability that some pipe mod'ing may be (?) necessary.

But ... for sure.
