I have both the Bully Dog and Superchips tuner. I have videos of both on my YouTube page. The Superchips feels much better and seems much safer. There are more options to choose from and faster programming. The Bully Dog has live data logs, like a boost gauge, and color screen. The superchips shifts nicely very similar to stock. 0-60 with the 91 tune (with 33" tires) in 5.4 seconds. The Bully Dog was very rough with shifts and seemed to run the fans on full max often. They did open up settings to keep stock shifting, but the extra power caused slipping and lazy shifts. MPG was terrible! I was getting 12.5 vs the superchips getting 18 at 70 MPH with the 91 tune. (Again with my large off road tires, stock tires would show better). The Bully Dog economy tune was actually pretty nice. You could still get tuned power at full throttle and get detuned power at part throttle to save gas. I know this was a quick and rough review, but I thought I'd chip in. All this typed on my phone, so be easy on me for lack of super detail and organization.

I had another thread I started where I was going to write a review comparing the two, but traffic died off so I didn't bother. Also, Fastlane in Houston is trying to make a tune to sell and they also picked up about 90hp.

Thanks for the review. I think that's a huge difference going from 12.5mpg with the bullydog to 18 with the superchips. That's the kind of information I'm looking for. Yeah I like to floor it on an onramp now and again, but that maybe accounts for 4% of my driving. As long as I can overtake a Hemi or a Vortec MAX, I'm happy, and I've been able to consistently do that with a STOCK EB.

Are any of the "canned" tunes trying to improve the tow/haul settings?

Do these tunes change anything in the transmission? I was told most don't.

So on fastlanes website it will let you add the sct to the cart, does this mean it can be ordered?

Anyone run the Superchips 87 tune in comparison to their 91 tune? If so, what are your thoughts? I was thinking about trying the 87 tune this weekend when I fill my tank. If I do, I'll probably run 89 with it because I still can't get my head around a turbocharged vehicle running on 87.

Need to be consistent with your numbers........... The peak HP gain on the LIvernois tune is 69 whp not 104...

i think youre referring to the high rpm gains.........
