New Official Livernois Ecoboost Thread
#2752
I just installed my 91 Performance tune last night along with windstorm intake and MIT and just wanted to post how impressed I was with it. Can't believe how much more power the truck has, very cool!
Now I need to get some 93 octane in there and try that tune out! I want to hit up the dyno by my house as well to see what it looks like as well.
Great job LMS!

I looked through about 20 pages to find the answer so: I used the search tool...
Anyone know the current going rate for a reflash of a used LMS tuner? Only info I found was $250 but that was an old thread somewhere...
Thanks

Have you tried contacting Livernois directly?
#2755
No. Lol. Figured I'd surely find it here or a "Member Special".. I'll send them an email when I get a price from the guy with the tuner.
I checked with Livernois. Apparently the fee went from $250 to currently $320 in the last 3 years or so.
Out of curiosity, I asked why the big increase (55% of a new one), but have never received a response. Not sure I want to pay $320 when I can't get a response.
I realize I'm a fairly new member with very low post numbers but, like the rest of you, I have used this site many times over to resolve issues, I just wanted to offer my opinion.

Hard shift
Love my tuner but never been able to smooth out the shifting. I tried the soft shift tune. it helped a bit but my gas mileage wasnt as good. I noticed my 2013 EB shifts smoother when the trans temp comes up to temp (around 190) . Just wondering if trying a different fluid might help?

Transferring Livernois Tuner?
I am trading my truck after putting it back to factory settings. I will not be getting another vehicle compatible with this tuner Part 45002 (F150/Taurus/Escape Ecoboose). Is it possible to sell these tuners and transfer to another vehicle?

Guys,
My sincere apologies for not being as active in this thread as we were in the past. And I wanted to also say thank you guys very much for those that had shared some positive feedback as it is greatly appreciated. I plan to be more active on this thread and the forum in general, so if there is anything we can do to help just let us know.
The tuner transfer fee is $300 if the device is going to a new owner / user on any of our Mycalibrator tuning devices. This includes re-licensing the tuner to the new owner, new custom tunes for their vehicle, and as with all of the Mycal tuners we do also offer lifetime support for future tune updates, new modifications added to the vehicle, etc. It is always a good idea if you are looking at purchasing one of our tuning devices used to verify it is compatible with your vehicle you'd like to transfer it to since there are several different versions that have been released over the years. Also if anyone needs a tune adjustment for a softer or harder shift, do not hesitate to contact us by PM, email, or even by phone to discuss possible adjustments to the tunes further and we would be happy to get them dialed in to further suit your personal preferences.
There have been a ton of new and exciting developments for the F-150s here in the shop recently as well for those that haven't been in touch for a while. We have updated tunes for many models, an all new Mycalibrator Touch screen tuning device that has datalogging and gauge features among many others, new 10 speed transmission tuning developments such as the skip shift elimination, and even E85 or E85 Flex fuel packages released for many models as well! So feel free to contact us if there is anything we can help you with.

Speaking of new and exciting developments, If anyone has the new Limited model with the 3.5L HO engine we have got you covered! We've recently announced the release of our custom tune support via the new Mycalibrator Touch tuning device. Driven by our dedication and passion for EcoBoost equipped vehicles, we wasted no time bringing our tuning to market, building upon years of tuning for the Limited's Off-Road brother, the 2017+ Raptor. After months of validation, we are releasing our performance tuning. Our Custom tuning allow adds more than just power, but also the features many of you are looking for in your 2019 F150. Check out the video below for more info and for the official power numbers as well.
