Bingo, the 91v10 makes about half the power of my other 91 tunes, which is why I am waiting for the vx1. If you said v11 had a noticeable bump in power I would have been first in line, otherwise I will just wait. Thank you though for the offer on v11.

I feel the exact same way! After waiting forever for an update I decided to bail on my Livernois tune and go back to SCT and a SSI tune. It literally blows the 93oct Livernois out of the water.
Frustrating having a $600 paper weight laying around! All the hype about this awesome tune they "were developing" and they deliver a driveability tune after all this time! They get you coming and going due to the fact you can't just unmarry it and sell it like every other tuner out there. One of the worst investments I have made in a company in quite a while!

3.5 years ago when I first got my LMS tunes it was arguably one of the best tunes on the market, now not so much. I recently got some MPT tunes and the difference is like a new tune vs. a 3.5 yr. old tune.

You are very welcome. The tune was not revised strictly with more power in mind but most, if not all of the feedback we have had reported that the tune does feel noticeably more powerful. The update only takes minutes on your end if you have never done so. Feel free to let us know if you would like and I would be glad to set it up for you to try asap and get your honest feedback / opinion. We update and load hundreds of tunes a week and would love to get you updated along with the rest of the guys out there still running v2 or v10 performance tunes.

I am sorry to hear you feel this way. The tuner has the ability to be un married and switched to another vehicle you own free of charge as long as it supported by that hardware. This includes new custom tune files as well. Most tuners that sell you custom tunes and or a tuner will not offer free tunes if you buy a new vehicle. They typically charge full price to tune an additional vehicle more often then not. If sold to a new owner there is a $250 AIW license transfer fee that includes licensing the device to a new owner and new custom tune files as well.

Does anyone happen to have some dyno charts or anything that shows how much power these tunes are truly making? Just curious how on the same octane someone can safely make double the power with out methanol injection or another type of power adder. We have never done any side by side comparison with these companies tunes, but would like to see some dyno numbers.

My tuner said there is still a new tune for the F150s coming soon as well.

I understand that the device can for an additional $250 be unlocked. This basically kills all resale value for the original consumer. My SCT for example I purchased brand new with the SCT tunes for $295 and 2 custom tunes from SSI was an additional $100. The device can also datalog and simply be unmarried and resold with the SCT tunes still on it. The buyer now has the option of adding affordable custom tunes. This is not the case with Livernois. If the cost was reasonable say $100 to unmarry the tuner it would not be as big of a hit.

I do not have any dyno numbers to confirm the gains from the SSI tune. I do however have the SOTP difference which was VERY obvious. Best time I ran with the LMS tune was 13.98 @ 98 I will compare the SSI tune first thing in the spring.

Don't get wrong I was happy with the LMS tune until support ceased and other vendors continued to plug away and revise their tunes. It still sticks in the back in my mind how I was promised a new and exciting tune was about to be released. This was by the sales associate at LMS when I called to place an order. That was 28K miles ago.....

HA!! I am pretty sure it will be over two years from its first mention by Livernois until it's actual release...if ever.

Guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are still able to set you up with Xv1 here on the dyno at this point as well. As another member mentioned it has been snowing and below zero some days here in Michigan recently. This gives us the ability to see how the tunes perform in colder weather locations. This is optimal testing conditions for different scenarios and additional fuel system demands in the winter with different quality winter blend fuels.

Also we have a brand new 2015 F-150 EcoBoost that is coming in very soon as well for development and dyno testing. Stay tuned for more great things to come for the F150 EcoBoost from Livernois Motorsports!
