Yeah my first set took 4 hrs on my back and 1.5 hrs on the second set on my back too, it's amazing how much you learn after the first set. A lot of bad words and cut hands on that stinking heat shield.

Default Livernois

Well after all my research about tunes livernois sounded like the best one. I keep reading all these awsome reviews but mine is not so good. Be weary about going with their tune. I have been dealing with them over the phone and email for months and finally gave up. Nothing that happens with your truck after the tune has "ever been recorded before" or "isn't their fault the truck isn't echanically sound". My truck had worked 100% perfect before the tune & thermostat. Now weekly it throws codes and shifts very late on the 91 perf tune at WOT and my speedo is 6 off. Daily driving seems to be great! Just everything else is all my trucks fault i guess.

So heres my update I have a weird cut out reoccuring at WOT on the 91 perf along with a wicked rattle. It cuts out and shifts reall really hard. Embarrasses the hell out of me and makes me ashamed to even try to race someone. Also my fan wont shut off so it runs 24/7 after about 5 min. I ordered the thermostat and eneded up getting a lower one then i was told about and a different brand but supposedly that was their new one and the tune was made for it?

SO…..i still havnt found the problem with livernois an gave up hearing the excuses. I did their plug changout they recommended and it fixed it slightly. I still cant go WOT in the truck. Just be weary with doing any mods to your truck its never the company's fault its yours for doing it in the first place.

It would be a wonderful thing if you could have 100% customer satisfaction. I've been in business over 30 years and you always get one every now and then that no matter what you try or do you can't fix it. Move on to another tuner or drive your truck stock. Or go to there shop and let them figure it out.

. Idk bout you but it's not real easy to pack my things up quit my job to go spend a road trip to let them hands on figure it out. All I was doing was sharing my experience so seem one else can be informed of the pros and cons of the tune. There's two sides to every story

I understand what your saying but all problems cannot be fixed over the phone. I would return your truck to stock and drive it hard and see if the problem eventually shows up. I think it will after a while then you can fix it. Then see how your tune works.
My truck was having issues late last fall tuned so I drove it stock for a month and it started doing it stock. Air charge pipe was cracked in the seem replaced it and no more problem with my tunes.
We can all be quick to jump on the guy that makes the tune. Sometimes the tune just brings the problem earlier than it would show stock. By the way I'm not LMS tuned so have no dog in this fight.

My truck has been Livernois tuned for over 2 years and I don't have any drivability issues. My truck runs great. I only wish it was a bit quicker at the track. But 13.5 isn't too bad for a nearly 3 ton truck that is as aerodynamic as a brick.
