Boatman_FX4,
I am very sorry to hear of these issues. Your tuner is ready to update as we have spoke about on the phone and I have sent you an email with the update instructions. Let me know how you like the new v10t tune revision. The new firmware update will allow you to now adjust your tire size on the tuner to correct your speedometer if it is not reading properly. The new updated firmware also has dramatically improved load times when tuning your trucks.

With the weather improving here in Michigan we are now able to log some street miles and we will keep everybody posted on the latest tune revisions as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience.

Also guys if anyone is having an issue with your tune files please do not hesitate to shoot us a PM, email, or give us a call and we will get you the latest tune files and custom versions for things such as softer shifts, stock rev, stock shifts and so on.

With that said, I've had very good success with the Livernois customer service team. I don't use the 91 Perf tune that often, but I'd like to think they could figure out the hiccup with it, if I brought it to their attention.

I understand your frustration, but hopefully Livernois can make things right for you.
TuxBlackEB,

I can check into the 91 tune to see if you have the latest revisions available. Feel free to send me your information including serial number of the device and I can set your tuner up with the most current tunes if you would like.

I've got the latest 91 performance tune version. Throttle response is excellent. Haven't had any hiccups so far, but the shifting is a bit firm. I'll email you for a revision. Thanks for making great tunes.

all my tunes rock, just one issue ,on the 3rd to 4th shift it seems to slip or float into gear at light throttle, like in stop and go intown driving , or acceling 1/8 throttle from a stop to get up to 35mph. the rest of the shifts are fine .
that is the only thing i do not like, have to live with it i guess.

MAZZ MAN,

Thank you for the the kind words. Your feedback and honest input, as well as all of the guys here on the forum, is the type of communication needed to perfect our tuning and to better suit your needs. This helps us to create the best tunes possible. I will get with my calibrator to see what we can do to improve this 3-4 shift issue that you have reported.

I will go ahead and answer this one for you. LMS can't fix this issue. I complained about this the day I loaded v10 tune many many months ago. No other tune I have does this. I talked many times with LMS about this issue and was told they couldn't figure it out. Said they loaded my strategy on their shop truck and it did the 3-4 slip but they couldn't fix it. That was months ago so maybe they got it figure out.

Yep, I have the same issue. As soon as I loaded v10 I got the 3-4 slip.

i dont think its doing anything it is just not the most solid shift , seems kind of loose then a flair then drops into gear, i kind of drive around it but some times it bothers me. other than that i like the streetability of the tunes.

i am running the 93 with the throttle response , just wish the throttle was a little more responsive . can that be tweeked ?

Guys , I switched over to the 87 TOW SS to pull a fishing boat home this week. I didnt get a chance to flash it back to the PERF tune. Any risks in running in tow program all the time? Seems to be getting great gas mileage.

Nope - wont hurt anything - during hunting season I run my Lms tow tune all the time cause every weekend I was dragging my XP 800 ranger to the woods.
