New muffler idea

Ecoboost will aslways have a chitty tone with a performance muffler. We always compare it to the sound of a v8, it will never happen. I have acepted that fact. I do have a 14inch long 3 inch in/out magnaflow with 3 inch resonater delete. I like it, it's still mellow, but wot its loud, like baby deisel loud, they have a uniqe sound. But by no means does it have the tone of a v8

No way of getting sound clips as of yet, i'm working on it. Yes it has a deeper tone, mellow when cruising, but real loud when you get on it, and higher in the rpms, some rasp high in the rpms to. I'm pretty sure a longer muffler would tone it down, or putting the resonater back on it( 3inch of course) or a combination of both. But i'm really digging the way it sounds right now. Btw some guys at work while cruising in didn't even notice or hear that i had any exhaust work done. Towing will be the real question, towing a 6000pd tt on a camping trip up north, we shall see
