Default Losing power/ cutting out more regularly

Well I posted about my loss of power while launching at the track but now I'm getting it under other conditions. I was on the highway for 15 minutes then parked for 15 min. i pulled onto the street and stopped at a redlight. I mildly accelerated from the redlight then floored it. It's when the truck downshifts and breaks traction. I can duplicate it. Is this the condensation issue or something else?

Sounds like the traction control kicking in and reducing engine power.

Sounds like traction control to me. I have to quarter throttle mine off of a light and squeeze the throttle the rest of the way to keep the traction control from turning on. If I just jump on it halfway it'll spin and the traction control will kick on and bog.

Sounds like TCS to me too. See if Rick can cut out some (or all) of that traction control. I installed a supercharger on a '08 F150 and had to have a custom tune made because of the TCS kicking in on launch.

It does it with traction control off. Maybe theres still some traction control even though its turned off. I just want it to go when I press the gas. If traction control is off it should break traction and not die.

Wonder if it would go away for a bit if you reset the battery?

I did read somewhere that there is more to the traction control then just the button on the dash and there is a way to shut it off. I will try and find it. With all the mods you have you are pushing a ton more HP so it has to be the TC kicking in.

Are you pressing and holding it for 5 seconds or just pressing it? Even if you hold it for 5 seconds, RSC and ESC turn back on at 35mph, TCS stays off (but single wheel spin control stays activated).

Yes 5 sec. Hold down. Maybe Ill just stop hammering it from a dig. I'll be in the market for a new truck by the end of the year. Who knows what I will end up in.

I second trying to get them to cut out the traction control, that should cure the slipping...I think you hammer it enough to avoid the condensation problem. Psssst, don't tell anyone I said this but the new Ram looks pretty tempting if I would've waited about a month longer, lol.
