Looks like he wants to add the 6.2 into the mix also.
You have to give props to a website that listensto forums and comments. 3k,6k,9k over a hill and other terrain with the same trailer, with the same truck configurations. Isnt that what everyone was asking for?

I should start a poll. Before the testing and release of the article.
It would be
"can you accept the results?"
With options
A)yes
B)no
C) ill find some reason to negate the results

If he dose ad the 6.2 then the eb and 5.0 community might be shocked. I do believe the 6.2 get the same tranny that the sd has. Might have a slight advantage. But I also could be wrong.

I would love to see that. Honestly, if Ford would have posted better numbers for the 6.2L I would have got one. (probably the SCrew Raptor, had a SCab Raptor, needed Crew cab)

Well I have the big 6.2 and it isn't that bag on fuel mpg's. I like the power and I think it will do well.

I absolutely loved the 6.2 when I drove it, but it did drink the gas. That may partly be the fact that it sounds sooo good and runs like a bat out of hell.

Well I average 19mpgs on the highway and about 14 around town. But for reliability purposes I think the 6.2 is the motor to use when pulling a trailer a lot.

For sound, the 6.2 and the 5.0 sounded sick. At 1st, the 6 cylinder sound was something to get used to....now, I really like the quiet. It is going to be interesting when I lift this truck up 6" add big tires and there will be stock exhaust on it

What I was getting at is that the 6.2 in the f150 has the same tranny configurations as in the sd. If so then every one might shocked at how well it will do.
