Livernois Motorsports EcoBoost Towing Demonstration
We still have a lot of customers that ask if the EcoBoost F150 can really tow and whether or not we have a file that is specifically designed for towing. That led us to make the following video...

Nice video Rick! I'll have to get one of your tunes, one of these days. I had Dan tune my GTO and I couldn't be happier with the performance of that car. You guys have a top notch facility over there with a great staff. Big thumbs up to Livernois Motorsports!
Did you get Tim to beat on that Camaro a little bit after you guys left the Tech Center car show? I rag on him all the time for babying it. I'm convinced that car has never seen above 3,000 RPMs.

I am completely impressed with these guys' tow tunes. I pulled my 79 F-250 across state two weekends ago with the ecoboost for the first time on a 24' gooseneck with a quad on there as well. Total package in tow was about 10k lbs.
Ran the 87 tow tune and had power to spare. Cruising at 70 in overdrive, up to 85 mph at times. The thing was flawless. 75 degree weather with a stiff headwind on the way over and highest trans temp I saw was 199 degrees in the hills, typically ran 197 on the flats.
These things are amazing.

Inebriated 4 ur safety
What else did ya'll put in that trailer to make it a total of 9,800 lbs? The Mustang is about 3,650 wet and the trailer that size is about 3,500 to 4,500lbs.

Cool vid. trans temps would be a good add to the video. Ive been running the Livernois tune for 25k miles now and its been smooth as can be. The factory tune had a few issues that made me worry about the ecoboost but after the tune its a whole different animal. The tons of extra power is awesome but in the the long run the trans tuning and the weird stock downshift "thunks" ironed out by the tune made this worth it even if there was no power increase. Never had a canned tune work so well. As far as mpg goes im about the same or maby slightly up from stock. Im getting better than before but it could be th esummer blend, although it been 100+ out
