Livernois Motorsports EcoBoost Towing Demonstration

Unless the 6.7 was deleted there is no way it could match the empty mpg's of the eco. No way, been there done that. I owned a 6.7 and traded in a 5.9 on my current eco. The 5.9 beats the eco in all category's, towing or not... only problem was... its a dodge.
Overall this lil gas motor tows like a mini diesel

It was not deleted and I am telling you my diesel was better. maybe the eco would be better in an area that was totally flat but where I live in south western pa I am very disappointed in the eco. Stock for stock the 6.7 was better and now that I put the same 35" trail grapplers on the eco that I had on the diesel its a good 4-5 mpg difference empty. stock for stock it was about a 2mpg difference empty. Towing 6k pounds with both stock was about 4-5 mpg difference.

Soon as work steadies out (bought the truck, drove it for 9 months, saw the lay off coming, got rid of it to save the payment) and I can convince the fiancé again, ill own one again.

Ill go back to a diesel when the time is right. I'm ok with my fx4 Eco at the moment. Maybe a tune will change my mind.

Centexguy & TwinTurboFx4 whether it be Livernois or some of the other tuners, a tuner will be a vast improvement over what Ford left on the table stock. Not just in power, but also in the shifting and over all feel. The stock shifting is too spongy with very poor throttle response especially down low. The torque converter takes too long to lock up giving you a feeling of not having the power you know the EB has. Some of the good tuners fix all of this giving you instant power with just a slight lay on the throttle like diesels. Trust me, get a tuner that fits your needs/wants and you will happy.
