Livernois F150 Tuning ????
#11
Waiting on mine, he won't be alone there will be a lot of us MPT tuned, and basically livernois took the market by storm with a good tune when no one had anything and of course they charged a premium, but now there current hardware is pretty pathetic ie no parameter monitoring or multiple tune storage or online updates for the single map the current device has, plus their price point is just plain absurd charging double what everyone else does makes this whole situation a no brainer, if you bought it before SCT came out them you had the best if you buy it now its just plain silly

Keepin' the lights on!
If I were just going for performance, I would probably be all over the 5-Star setup, but I do heavy towing and trust Livernois the most for that. I understand that 5-Star says you can tow up to the limit with it, but I still feel safer with a tow only tune, and I am delighted with it. It makes a great daily driver.

So correct if I am wrong with the pricing but Unleashed offers the SCT with a custom tune for $449 and most of the others sell the SCT Tuner for $379 and then anywhere from $99 to $150 for a custom tune. That is more than half according to my math and then factor in the labor and cost if you have to gap your plugs or buy new plugs. Just my 2 cents.

I swear my throttle response and power get weaker the longer I have it tuned. No I'm not just getting used to the truck. If I turn it to stock and then retune it tge truck feels strong again. It's like over time the truck learns my slow driving and retunes itself. I can't be the only one this happens to.

Not a lot of truth in this statement.

Not exactly half price but pretty dang close!

Boost :)
Well the original statement was someone comparing Livernois pricing to the others, so that's what I did. The thread was started asking about them as well, hence the explanation.
And to clarify, I am not any kind of beta tester or early customer for MPT. They have plenty of tuning with the EB under their belts. Hell Mike used to tune FOR SCT before he started MPT.
He had plenty of reviews on his FB page for EB users as well as several here on this site as well. They only recently became a sponsor so most people had not mentioned them much for that reason as well. Can't beat the deal he is offering though.
