i just did another pull yesterday with our tiny 3.7 motors. i pulled about 5300lbs with the trailer and mustang. i only drive about 55 miles to the track driving at 60mph.

i did another pull for somebody pulling a dodge stealth which probably is only about 3200lbs. so i'm only pulling about 5000lbs and i could hardly tell the motor is grunting to pull it.

all i can say is, if you get Mike's tune the motor pulls at least 50% BETTER. when i first got his tune, i mainly used 87 perf/tow and when i went into tow/haul modes, it'll hold a 2500rpm which did great. but they he did an update to it and now it holes roughly a 3000/3200rpm which does even better.

these little motors does great. and i've had my motor tuned since 700 miles and now i'm at 25000.

I think the dynapros are better than the goodyears. Even with a light load in the back I can feel how squishy the tires are. Also if you're truck is rwd then you have smaller tires than me which I assume would make them a bit stiffer

Must be the low quality goodyears then. Can't wait to get rid of these tires. At 22'000 kms there's noticable tread wear.

Yeah, the Goodyear SR-A's that came stock were horrible when loaded. I had an uneasy feeling every time I towed with those. Got some E rated Goodyear Duratracs at 5k miles and never looked back.

23.86mpg last tank was my best yet!
23.3 and 23.6 the fillups before that. Worst yet was 20.9.

2011 supercab XLT 2WD 3.7 3.73 rear gear

The OEM hankooks are starting to wear at only 16,000 miles. My fuel mileage should tell you how I drive and how much time I have lots of weight in the back. A different 235/75-17 will replace them.

But it also depends where you live. I'm in a city with lots of traffic and congestion. Combine that with steep hills and my average is 16 mpg per tank.
