I tried the VTA and mine sounded like the truck(13) had the runs. It wasn't a crisp sound at all. Maybe it's louder when the engine is under load but just reving in the driveway it's pretty unimpressive.

Hey guys. Has anyone not running a filter on the BOV had any problems? Or smooth sailing?

Thanks!

So I don't have a level or taller tires yet... but even at that, I do think that the BOV location is relatively low.

Anyone look at maybe modding the existing tube and maybe chopping it and mounting it somehow so that it it is higher?

Or I guess any hose would work no?

Maybe just cut the stock plastic tube you removed and have it mounted from the outlet of the BOV and secure it somehow half way up?

I picked up from home depot, a 1 1/8th chair cap and it fits perfectly... I haven't zip tied it yet, but its a perfect fit for the intake tube

however, I am still kinda concerns about leaving the BOV open, but don't want to cut the existing tubing.

I'm thinking maybe that I'll look for 1 1/8th hose (like Rad hose) and run it a few inches higher and strap it in with a zip tie.
