I installed a boost gauge in my 12' FX4 ecoboost and went for a test drive. At the top of 1st gear it peaks 23lbs and falls off after the shift. It contains a average of 20lbs. Only mods are MPT 93 tune and a airaid CAI. What kind of boost level is everyone else seeing?

my truck is stock... using torque pro app I see a max of 12-13

holy crap... honestly I get that the engine is well built, but now I'm kinda skeptical about the tunes if its pushing a tiny K03 to 23lbs of boost. No wonder these tunes are pushing out these numbers....

I think the block will be able to handle the power, but I'm definately skeptical that the K03's will last the engine's lifespan at that type of boost.

Stock with 94 octane i see a spike of 15.5 psi. With 5* 87 perf/tow i see a spike of 18.5. Using sct livewire

Canned SCT tune, SW chambered exhaust, and Airaid intake, aeroforce gauge is showing almost 19psi.

Stock mine runs about 12-13, tuned it runs 21-22 at max tapers off to around 18.5-19. It can hit 18 just with moderate acceleration going up a hill.

Stock-13 tapers to about 12. 5 star 87perf/tow 18.5 spike tapers down to about 17.5.

What octane gas are you using with stock tune? Trying to figure out why i spike 15.5 psi stock tune

With 5 Star tow tune I see spikes to 19psi pulling a trailer.
