Default High Flow Cats = Vibration

Guys,

I was wondering if anyone is having any type of vibration with hf cats or off road pipe on the EB. I am getting a vibration under 1500 rpm. It seems like as soon as any type of load is put on the engine it starts. Really does it when starting up a hill. I have doubled check the exhaust and it is not rubbing any where. Just wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue. I am running hf cats with stock exhaust.

More than likely just the sound reverberating and causing the vibration. Happens in the vette with the borlas and my dodge with the stacks.

I get the rattle with my off-road down pipes. Same as you described. I have looked everywhere with no signs of rubbing.

I've got solo's off road pipes, and I don't notice any vibration. But mine goes into a 4" afe cat back system, not stock.

Thanks for all the replies. I wonder if the stock exhaust has some thing to do with it. I would hate to buy a cat back and it still be there.

I'm in the same boat. Mine does sound like its coming from behind the y-pipe. Who's down pipe do you have?

I have the high flow cats with the solo mr400. I feel a slight vibration idling and when the truck is warming up and put it in reverse, the noise reverberating off the wall close by makes everything shake. Even my wife inside can notice it when I leave.
