The Gearz episode came on earlier this week. Monday I think. I watched it on my DVR last night. Just showed basic install and then quoted the HP gains from Heartthrob superchips and Airaid. Pretty much looked like a sales pitch for the parts used but with no real evidence of HP numbers. I'm sure this combo picks up some power but 38 hp from just catback exhaust?

Yes, depending on how you report the data...

Here's back to back to back dyno runs on my EcoBoost with just changing the exhaust to a Solo Performance MR400.

Almost to 300whp! Do you have plans to add anymore performance parts to it?

Its called sae correction. Also it doesn't matter what the dyno is.. just compare base run to the tuned run. I've compared all of them and the livernois wins with no comparison.

yes, we can all timidly agree they have the best tune. i was merely cutting a hole in your blanket statement. and sae correction is a joke, don't get me started with the fools who manipulate that.

Why would you "cut a hole" to my statement? And make a big deal about it? I was just making a statement on the power just as you did. BTW, the base run yielded only 291 rwhp..about 7 less than what your dyno run showed. So they are pretty close to start with.

So it would seem my truck is choking to death on its own exhaust. What would be the reasoning Ford would use to have such terrible flowing exhaust? I've heard of picking up some HP but it just seems like they did all this research on a TT DI motor then just used and exhaust that they had laying around.
