I think the torque curve of this motor really gets you moving in a hurry, weather you have 3.15 or 3.73. the only real advantage seems to be if it is 4wd or 2wd to launch you off the line,( it is easy to smoke at the line in 2wd), but i could be wrong, but like you said no one seems to be talking

Never ran with stock exhaust. I have the solo but it has the bigger quieter muffler. I guess it is just so smooth and thats why it doesnt feel fast but now i know.

So is that solo mr400 with a different muffler option. I have listened to every exhaust clip available at least 5x. Buy far the solo takes the cake, worried the single will be to loud, especially when towing, but figure it will give you the best gains....... Now all i have to do is sweet talk my old lady

A 4" exhaust with a small muffler will be loud and even with a resonator or jpipe it will have some drone. Solo for sure sounds nice.

Check out my thread I just posted with my review of the SOLO MR400. Might have some things in there to help you decide. On my phone right now so I can't post the link.

I bought it off ebay and actually found out the guy is a member on here, shadow something. I cant remember. Basically he bought the mr400 kit and his wife didnt like it so he called solo and bought a different muffler that looks the same its just longer. So i got them both. I first tried the short muffler and it was a little loud for the six cyl. Sound. I put the longer one on and i like it much better. Oh forgot to say its the single 4 inch. Awesome awesome quality and fit. I would reccomend it to anyone. Really didnt notice much difference in power but i only had about a thousand miles on it whdn i installed it and i hadnt really beat up too much on it.

Thanks...with my 3.15 gears....I'll be close...hopefully, but probably want have the time you've run...i'll most likely be a few ticks slower.....3.55 gears should get you out of the hole just alittle faster.

while we're talking about different gear ratios......i heard don't know if its true...just hear say....is the gears set for a 2011-12 / 10.25" rearend different than the older models......not going to anytime soon, but someday I might think about change from the orginal 3.15 gear to maybe a 3.55 or 3.73.
