Stupid question but you just slide the hose onto the nipple when you are ready to do the oil change right? Or can you leave the hose attached and just tuck it up inside somewhere?

Sorry, late to the response on this one.

I pull it off and leave it on my oil drain pan and just put it back on the next time. It slides on and off easily, but firmly attached...so it won't kick off when draining either.

okay great..thanks..just had my first oil change done..freebie at dealer and as expected they left a mess..area above skid plate had residual oil that was from either removal of the filter or when they drained it..this valve will make it easier and cleaner I assume. now to just find a easier and cleaner way of removing the filter for when I go to do it myself for the first time.

Anyone know if any auto parts stores carry these, or something like them? I am planning on changing my EB oil for the first time this weekend and dont want to wait for shipping...

Fumoto/quick drain valve is the only one I would use! Wait until you get the good valve, don't use the cheap auto parts store valve. Just takes three or four days.

I got the F-107N and installed 36" clear vinyl hose, so I can drain right into the bucket. Works great, and money well spent.

Just the answer I was searching for. Had one on the Dmax, Need one for the new truck now. Do you have skid plates?

3 models

Their website only shows three valves, F107, F107S and F107N. One without any nipple, one with a short nipple and one with a long nipple.

What do you mean when you talk about the extra adapter?? Didn't see any adapter mentioned in the ad. Are you are talking about the nipple?

Can anyone confirm that the F107N will work with factory skid plates?

I don't have skid-plates. It points straight horizontally and doesn't project below the oil pan. The swaybar and frame cross beam are well below that, so I can't see how it would cause any interference with the skid plate. I have the tubing gently tie-wrapped to the frame.

Also, note the convenient "storage" to cap the tubing end. The sway bar bolt is the perfect size to terminate the tubing. I just pull it off the bolt to drain into the drain pan, then plug it again.

Very good thinking. I got the extened service package from the dealer. When that is up, I will be doing your exact set-up.
Thanks for posting.
