Default First trip in the ecoboost here are the results

I took a trip with a total of about 600 miles. 2011 f150 4x4 with the ecoboost in Kentucky. The fuel milage was right at 18.5 to 19.5 mpg . The avg speed was 75 to 80 mph . The truck was a pleasure to drive so smooth it was unreal. Plenty of power when you need it with no lag .I can't wait for the next trip as I will be towing something. I'm sure with the power that truck has it will be a great experience.. By the way she only had about 300 miles when I took off so I expect the milage will improve I'm sure. Anyone have a similar experience....

You should be thankful your truck is smooth riding mine sure isn't. Ive been going back and forth with dealers for a mounth. They say they can't fix it. I'm about to jack it up real high and run a Toyoto under it.

Same here. Drove from Cincinnati to Clay City and back. Hand calculated 19.71mpg with an average speed of 76mph. Not too bad considering all the hills. Truck now has 1500 miles on it. Truck details are XLT SCREW 4x4 Ecoboost 3.55 rear end 157" wheelbase 18" wheels. I think I'm going to like this one. This number actually beats my old truck which was a 2001 F150 XL Reg cab 2wd standard shift with 3.08 rear stock 16" rims and tires. It averaged 17.8 on that same trip (I drive that route about 10 times a year).

Great, so far I can't be happier either glad you like yours I will be interested in how its going to tow. I would be shocked if it had any problems do to the amazing power and tork. I traded in that exact same 2001 only it was extended cab.

I got about the same results on the trip I just took. Approximately 200 miles one way which resulted in approximately 18.5 mpg. On the trip there I was getting on it a little bit because I was rushing to my grandfathers funeral. On the way back the wind was in my face the entire trip back.

EB; Screw; 3.55; 18" wheels; 960 miles currently

Sorry about the funeral. Was wondering why you only have 18s instead of 20s. Did you order it that way. Curious ?

No, I didn't order mine actually. Most of the XLT's here in Houston have the 18" wheels. The higher end packages end up with the 20" wheels most of the time.
