Execs are prob reading this smoking cigars and laughing. I am thinkin the lawyer route might be the only way to go. Customer service is apparently better in the states and probably only because they must answer to more regulation / law.

Who knows...

I think we are all just pissed off at this point lol

The only 2 people I've dealt with that have been reasonably human about the whole thing are Ashley on here and the service manager at the dealer who has the truck now. Actually in the limited convos I've had with Ashley she seems to be pretty genuine.

Holy fauck! Spent the last hour reading through this thread, absolutely unacceptable...disgusted! Ghost, sorry you're going though this. 3 motors?!?! As stated, no more patty caking with this crap. Take legal actions nd get your money back and buy a Toyota, GM, Dodge or Nissan.

I'm truck shopping in 2014 and now I'm very hesitant to get another Ford. What's alarming to me is that Ford is not stepping up to do the right thing.

I joined this forum just to reply to this thread. I live in Summerland, and have been commuting back and forth to the oilpatch myself for a few years. I really feel for you, as for years in the oilpatch. the truck of choice was a Ford. I've watched many friends and company fleet managers struggling to maintain their loyalty to Ford through many issues. I'll add to this later, as it's late, and it took me a couple of hours to read your whole thread.

I would not be surprised if the first engine was condensation buildup, And the next three Was a lack of competence at that Ford dealership. I have never heard of disintegrated spark plug. Extremely lean conditions will melt the piston first

Be sure you want to take that step before you pull the trigger on a lawyer. As soon as you get a lawyer involved, Ford will be forced to turn your case over to their lawyers and you will have no more communication from any service departments. I'm still hoping Ford steps up, and soon!

If the best they can do is change another engine insist that they replace THE WHOLE ENGINE including the fuel system, ECM and all the wiring harnesses. Even the alternator. Any of it could cause an electronic brain fart that could be causing issues.

Good luck. I can't believe Ford has let things go this far.

Too add insult to injury Ghost has to continue making payments on this truck that spends more time out of commission or risk damaged credit. It would be funny to have the repo man show up at the dealership to reclaim the truck he may as well just take it to the salvage yard for parts.

Ghost, have you thought about sending your story to your government representative. It may not help you, but it might help others in the future to get to get some kind of lemon law like what we have in the states. You would have gotten a new truck by now if ya'll had a law like that.
