The first time my Eco blew up......

Just had a call back from ford of Canada exec offices.
She asked me if it was possible to take the vehicle back to OK Ford. This is the dealer that's 11 hours from home. I said no, at this point in the conversation I'm extremely confused. Then she asks me if I'm still driving the vehicle. Um no the motor is blown. She basically ended the call by saying she would call the dealer.
I'm so stunned right now. Guess my nightmare isn't over.
Last call she says I'm going to look at getting you into another truck. This call its like she has no idea who I am or the details of what's happened.
Not even mad anymore. I'm just really disappointed.

I'm doubling up here but ford wants me to take the truck back to the dealer that damaged my truck an took over a month to get it back to me??
Am I confused?
When I left that dealer I decided that I wouldn't set foot on that lot ever again. This is insane.

That's really unfortunate to hear, Ghost. Its actually puzzling how Ford has not just stepped in here, made the customer happy, and work with the dealerships on finding out why the repairs have not worked. They would then take away that information as part of a post mortem and see what has failed them from putting a working powertrain in this truck.
Is there a gap in documentation or training to the tech performing the repair? Is it something Engineering will need to investigate further? Regardless, you should have been made right long before this, and Ford should take this incident and learn from it to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Maybe I'm too nice I dunno.
I think ford can go after whoever they want internally. I'm the damn customer. This shouldn't be impacting my life the way it is. I've been really patient. I've been trying to believe at some point Ford would look after me.
Hunter it's funny you bring up documentation as from the last dealer I still don't have any paperwork. I picked the truck up after hours. I'd advise against that for any of you guys in the future. In hindsight I should of taken a bunch of pictures and refused to take it.

Wow. You'd think that if FORD was to assign a Customer Service Rep to your case, that this person would want to get up to speed on your situation before calling you. A good start would have been to read this thread. Very disappointing!
Kudo's to you for your patience. I would have torched it long ago and run back to Toyota with the insurance $.
