Default Exhaust saga: Ecoboost Livernois o/r downpipes, 4in w/ diamond eye and Aero 4040

Well here we go again. I was very pleased with my exhaust until I installed the catless downpipes. My 18" mbrp resonator wasnt cutting it keeping the interior sound at ease. I purchased a 30" Diamond Eye muffler and installed it as close to the front as possible. There interior sound is quieter now than before the downpipe swap. The sound from the tailpipe sounds perfect. Has a constant whirrrr from the pipe.

Idle and revs. Dont make fun of my lack of footwear lol.

Revs and drive away

Traction control was on. I didnt expect as much peeling.

Sounds good Joe. Is that diamond chambered or straight through?

Thanks Corey. It's straight through. They have louvered and perforated. Mine is louvered. I have had both 3" and 4" with stock resonator, no resonator, 18" mbrp as resonator and now the 30" diamond eye as resonator. Interior sound is unbearable to me with no resonator. I don't see how some folks are able to handle the interior sound of these non resonated systems. I have quite a bit of muffler with this system and it just now sounds good inside to me.

Bro.. Amazing. How much do you have invested into the exhaust? It sounds so good that I would LOVE to have this exact same set up, but I'm not the type to blow too much $$$ on an exhaust

Sounds good. I'm going to be in the same boat as you once I put this off road pipe on. Still running the stock resonator but no muffler.

Yeah...mine is way too loud now that I have the down pipe. I just can't figure out what I want to do. Stuck between loud and too much money lol. Money that could go towards more go fast parts lol.

How much you think you have in that thing now?

Cost From stock exhaust to the way it sits now...alot lol.
Itemized costs: livernois downpipe $575 shipped
3"-4" adapter- $20
30" long 4" louvered Diamond eye $125
Aero 4040 -$100
4' of 4"- $50ish
F250 4" tail section- $60ish
5" tip - $50, but I got for free from a friend.

I guess that's around $1000 for materials. I've probably spent another $500 for cutting and welding at the exhaust shop. Kinda expensive but it has the sound I like inside and out. Thanks for the compliments.

Do you have a pic of the 5" tip? Would like to see what it looks like compared to a 4".
