Yes we all own a Ford and this thread is in the 2009 up sub forum.
So Semantics has a valid point ;-)

Wait a minute..I'm not going to dispute the fact you are getting lower mileage than some but you are only averaging 18.5 in a Flex and you are complaining about a 2.7 mpg difference with a truck?
And you use the truck to carry loads and pull a horse trailer?
Certainly, the Flex isn't a small car and I don't know what it's rated for but 18.5 doesn't even sound great for that. Maybe in your case it is the fuel in your area.

That is 18.5 with my foot in it! When I put an egg under my foot I can get 22 mixed. My foot was in it more than the egg though. I enjoyed driving it, a lot. 18.5 is actually a decent number too for it, it was rated 16-22 mixed of 18, so I was right where it should be.
So far the F150 has been all egg, no foot other than the day I first test drove it. I also have not pulled the trailer yet and have only had 600 pound loads twice since I got it, and those were short trips. The fact that I dont see anything more than 18 on trips that should be showing over 20, and that it is barely staying at 15.8 leads me to believe there is a problem, the shudder is also something it isnt supposed to do.

Well...try driving it without an egg under your foot and see what it does after you open it up a bit then.

Secmantics is this not a Ford Forum and this thread for 2009 and up Fords? Why flame a person for what they have when we basically are on same page owning Ford Trucks. A little kindness goes along way in life. Moreover, when I read all the complaints and while some are happy some are not is another reason I stayed away from the EB. Too early to tell what kind of life you get if you work that engine pulling day in and day out. Hard to beat the big block for that! In the mean time enjoy your truck
ecoboost only.... thread

Don't play the "they're all fords!" game and then call into question the longevity of my truck in the same breath.
