Actually, this thread is "Ecoboost only-real world mileage"
Yes we all own a Ford and this thread is in the 2009 up sub forum.
So Semantics has a valid point ;-)

A 2010 ecoboost screw? Hmmm crazy that engine didn't come out until 2011

Certainly, the Flex isn't a small car and I don't know what it's rated for but 18.5 doesn't even sound great for that. Maybe in your case it is the fuel in your area.

That is 18.5 with my foot in it! When I put an egg under my foot I can get 22 mixed. My foot was in it more than the egg though. I enjoyed driving it, a lot. 18.5 is actually a decent number too for it, it was rated 16-22 mixed of 18, so I was right where it should be.

So far the F150 has been all egg, no foot other than the day I first test drove it. I also have not pulled the trailer yet and have only had 600 pound loads twice since I got it, and those were short trips. The fact that I dont see anything more than 18 on trips that should be showing over 20, and that it is barely staying at 15.8 leads me to believe there is a problem, the shudder is also something it isnt supposed to do.

Well...try driving it without an egg under your foot and see what it does after you open it up a bit then.

Semantics has it right.

If you don't see that it's you causing problems by coming into an ecoboost only thread and posting why you think your 6.2 is better, then you have issues.

Don't play the "they're all fords!" game and then call into question the longevity of my truck in the same breath.

Not getting "sweaty.". But don't come on here, make disparaging comments about choices of engine in a thread started by someone else, and then get butthurt when called on it and act like you're now some kind of victim.
