Back to the thread, do you you recall what you started out at and about when it went up? My mileage still is poor - 16.5 tops and I drive conservatively. I've got 1400 miles on it, but the latest tank too much town driving so not 'counting' this one. Nice though to see your running that w/a 3.73. I was thinking maybe that's my killer...
def not new to snow. shes been hunting in elko/ely a few times for bird and i've taken him all the way to montana to boar hunt everytime it snows any decent amount on the hill, we go up there so they can eat some snow. I went back up there today for a few hours again.

what part of nevada you in brother?

Centennial Hills - that's cool, your dogs travel as well. Az, Id, Or & Mt for hunting & trialing, but got out of the trialing. Heard Northern NV isn't bad for birds, but need more vacation time!
BTW - just messing w/you on the new to snow comment, rare to see snow down in the valley and rare to see bird dogs...

Has your mileage always been pretty good or did it jump after so many miles?

Northern Nevada is better than "not bad" for birds

This tank worked out pretty good. Mix of city and highway.

Lately I've been getting around 14.5-15. I've been ECO-DUPED!

My mileage stinks I think I need to take it in to the dealer . pulled a 4000# snowmobile inline trailer this weekend on highway at 70 mph with a 3.73 and got 10 mpg and typically get 15 mpg with out trailer .

Any ideas ? I do notice a lot of waste gate noise but see nothing unhooked.

yes, i agree that we have been eco duped, well those of us who use 3:73 gears...

I just put 33" toyo mt's on mine and now ...lol 14-15 on the highway doing 70-80 and around 14-16 city. Big wheels and tires kill the mpg's on this truck....
